LIAA invites you to the Investor’s Forum, where entrepreneurs will present their business concepts and plans to potential investors. Investors Forum consists of two parts: Seminar for potential investors in the morning and Presentations of entrepreneurs to investors in the afternoon.
Target group to the Seminar ,9:30 am – 12:30 pm, December 7, 2011:
- Potential Investors, Business Angels, Beginners in venture investment business that would like to learn about process of venture investment and business idea evaluation.
Target group to the Investors Forum, 2:00 – 4:30 pm, December 7, 2011:
- Young Entrepreneurs, who would like to attract investment for their innovative businesses;
- Investors, Representatives of Venture Capital Funds looking for new investment opportunities.
The guest lecturer in the seminar is Dr. Ben Ferrari, Managing Director of Imprimatur Capital, who will share his experience with potential Latvian business angels about global investment trends in high –tech business. Mr. Toby Moore, Managing Partner of Imprimatur Capital will speak about particular steps of venture capital investment process – evaluation, governance, exit, etc.
The seminar is designed as training, information exchange and informal discussion that will benefit both sides: well-experienced investors and beginners in the venture investment business. The number of participants is limited to 20 participants. The participants will be selected by an application reviewing procedure.
