Latvian companies and products represented in The Netherlands

In the past years, trade between The Netherlands and the Baltic region has been increasing, and the Netherlands for many Latvian companies is a market yet to be discovered. Those Latvian companies that have found their way to The Netherlands, however, do not always contact the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) Representative Office, located at the Latvian Embassy in The Hague. However it could be useful to do so, given LIAA's expertise and local contacts.
 
The most popular export products from Latvia to the Netherlands are: timber, timber products and peat, products that are usually associated with high quality by Dutch customers.

Other Latvian products available on the Dutch market are: MÁDARA cosmetics: http://www.besopure.nl/ and http://www.vitaminstore.nl/beauty/; MINT furniture,  Mamma Lampa and other Latvian designers are represented by: www.design-mind.eu; Latvia made “Dreamsocks" http://www.dreamsocks.nl/ and Latvia made lingerie http://www.mb-lingerie.nl/ are sold at internet shops and wooden toy producer “Varis Toys” has an exclusive agent: http://www.jamala.eu/varis-toys. Several Latvian food specialties can be purchased at mostly ethnic food stores, such as “Bogatir”.
