“World of Private Label” PLMA, May 24-25, 2011, Amsterdam

On May 24th and 25th, the PLMA International Trade Fair took place in Amsterdam. PLMA is worldwide a well known meeting point for Private Label producers and buyers of Private Label products. The PLMA trade fair is focusing only on professionals and gathers annually around 3.500 companies from round 70 countries.

This year, The Union of Latvian Fish Processing Industry (ULFPI) participated at the Trade Fair accompanied by companies such as Gamma-A, Atlantikstars, Karavela, Brivais Vilnis, Sabiedriba IMS, Pernes L. The companies were represented at the PLMA under the roof of ULFPI stand, but were all given the chance to present themselves individually. Latvian delicacies and beverages – alcoholic and non-alcoholic - were represented by NP Foods (Laima and Gutta brands) and Latvijas Balzams. Participating Latvian companies are “regular” exhibitors at the trade fair, as they acknowledge the importance of PLMA for gaining more publicity as well as for networking opportunities and even to close business deals.
